A vandal’s favorite
writing implement:
the permanent marker
The marker is the little
smiley face at the top
left corner
This was removed with
a simple isoprophyl
alcohol pad from our
first aid kit
A tagger’s favorite
writing implement:
the aerosol spray paint
We like Krud Krutter,
an over the counter
grafitti removal spray
Spray the remover
generously all over the
affected areas
Let the product soak in
for about 5 minutes
A stiff bristled nylon
brush is soft enough
not to scratch the
acrylic
The brush makes quick
work of most of the
spray paint
Only a few areas of
paint remain around
the letters and braille
For the more stubborn
bits, we can use lacquer
thinner
The lacquer thinner can
be worked in with the
brush. A plastic or
wooden scraper works
too.
As good as new!
